I have worked for The Spectator magazine under various guises – most recently as Supplements Editor – since 2011, and blog here. You can find my previous magazine pieces here. As well as commissioning and writing for the main magazine and online, I also edit the twice-yearly Spectator Schools supplement, as well as Spectator Money online. I completed my MA in Investigative Journalism at City University London in June 2012, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2010, with an MA (Hons) in Scandinavian Studies. A fluent Norwegian speaker, I spent a year studying at the University of Oslo as part of my undergraduate degree.

In addition, I also write on a freelance basis for a wide variety of publications, including The Spectator, The Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday's 'You' magazine, the Daily Mail, Horse and Hound, Fieldsports Magazine, and others. I've also worked on a political documentary for the BBC Current Affairs department in London, and in 2012 worked as the features assistant CNN's International bureau in London, as well as working on current affairs programmes at October Films and Love Productions.

When not busy typing, I'm usually found on or near a horse. After graduating I spent the summer training for the Mongol Derby, a 1,000 km horse race across the Mongolian Steppe. Billed as the 'longest, toughest horse race in the world' and officially recognised by the Guinness World Records, other competitors included professional endurance riders and two Olympic athletes. I completed the race in 8 days and raised over £1,600 for Mercy Corps and The Rifles Regimental Trust. In the summers of 2016 and 2017 I also took part in Glorious Goodwood's charity race, the Magnolia Cup, and have also raced in a charity event at Aintree.
